It’s pretty freaking ridiculous that some parents will give their kids Ridilin, narcotics, anti-depressants, etc. in a heartbeat at the prescription of a doctor, but they turn up their noses at medical marijuana, a natural substance.

every day, there are hundreds, maybe even thousands, of posts on tumblr which say something along the lines of “OMG WISH I WAS AT THIS BEACH [insert pretty photo]!!!”
i’m guilty of doing this myself.

What angers me the most is the apathy we tend to have in the face of horrific oceanic conditions. I consider myself a surfer with a conscience, and I try to do my best to give back and protect the resource that has given me so much throughout my entire life.
